Tiger Shapiro (31 October 1904 – 1 January 1983; age 78) worked as second assistant director on Star Trek: The Original Series. [1]
Shapiro previously worked on My Favorite Martian, where he had met William Blackburn, whom he hired for Star Trek as DeForest Kelley's stand-in and regular background actor playing Hadley. [2]
He also worked as assistant director on the 1960 films Vice Raid and Oklahoma Territory.
