Timothy Bond (born 19 February 1942; age 82) directed the Star Trek: The Next Generation third season episodes "The Vengeance Factor" and "The Most Toys". Bond received Gemini Award nominations for his work on Paramount Television's Friday the 13th: The Series and CBS' Top Cops.
Bond made his directorial debut with Deadly Harvest (1977, starring "The Most Toys" performer Nehemiah Persoff with Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country actress Kim Cattrall). In addition, Bond has worked with a few regular Star Trek performers outside of Trek. He directed Star Trek: Deep Space Nine star Nana Visitor in a 1986 episode of Alfred Hitchcock Presents entitled "Happy Birthday" and worked with Star Trek: The Original Series star, William Shatner, in the 1994 TV movie TekWar: TekLab, based on Shatner's TekWar novels.
His many other TV directorial credits include Touched by an Angel (working with Charles Rocket), Forever Knight, Sliders (starring Jerry O'Connell and John Rhys-Davies and featuring Karen Austin), Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, and Mutant X. He has also directed over a dozen made-for-TV movies as well as a number of feature films. Among the latter are The Lost World and Return to the Lost World (both 1992, starring John Rhys-Davies and David Warner), and The Shadow Men (1997, featuring Dean Stockwell and Andrew Prine). He also co-wrote Happy Birthday to Me (1981, starred Original Series guest actress Sharon Acker).
