Tom Smith (born 16 November 1956; age 68) is a comic book color artist from New Jersey. He has been working in the industry as a colorist and painter since the mid-1980s, working for companies including Marvel, DC, Chaos, First, Topps, and Top Cow. Most recently, he has begun doing work for IDW Publishing, working on their Doctor Who title, and is now the main color artist for John Byrne's Star Trek: Assignment: Earth mini-series.
He is well known for his work on Marvel's The Avengers, the various Venom miniseries, and X-Men 2099, as well as DC's The Brave and the Bold
