The maitre d'

In a deleted scene from the Star Trek: Enterprise second season episode "The Expanse", Tommy was the maitre d' of the chinatown Chinese restaurant where Jonathan Archer met Becky. He welcomed Archer in a friendly manner and knew him from prior visits to the restaurant. He told Archer that the people were staying home since the Xindi weapon attack on Earth.

Tommy was portrayed by Jim Lau.

In the novelization of The Expanse, it is suggested that the last time Archer had seen Tommy was "a couple of years" previously but that the maitre d' had not seemed to change at all, in the intervening years.
