In 2372, he attended a reception that was given on behalf of Shakaar Edon. Shakaar's adjutant, Sarish Rez, saw Tonsa and attempted to arrange a game of springball with the vedek as an opportunity in getting his support for Shakaar in the Vedek Assembly. (DS9: "Crossfire")
