The Dominion Base at Trelka V
Trelka V is the fifth planet of the Trelka system, inside Cardassian space.
During the Dominion War, a Dominion starbase with a garrison of 10,000 was located on its surface and a Cardassian drydock was in orbit.
The starbase was the first target struck by General Martok's cavalry raid in 2375. Among the vessels in Martok's fleet were the IKS Ch'Tang, IKS Orantho, IKS Ning'tao, IKS Malpara, and IKS Slivin.
General Martok sent two Bird-of-Preys to attack the Trelka V base. After they had caused damage, the two ships attempted to leave the system. However, one was destroyed by a Cardassian ship. While the Cardassians pursued the remaining ship, the rest of Martok's small fleet attacked the base again, catching them as they were attempting to repair the base. A full-out assault on the Trelka V starbase would require half of the Ninth Fleet in order to destroy the base. (DS9: "Once More Unto the Breach")
