Trevis was a character in an interactive holodeck fairy tale, The Adventures of Flotter. He was a tree elemental and a friend of Flotter.

In 2375, Neelix used him and other characters from the Forest of Forever to comfort Naomi Wildman while they waited for word on whether Naomi's mother, who had crashed in a shuttle, was safe. After Naomi and her mother were reunited safely, they both visited the program. (VOY: "Once Upon a Time")

Trevis was played by actor Justin Louis.

Trevis' appearance was achieved by Make-Up Supervisor Michael Westmore and Costume Designer Robert Blackman. "Michael put the actor playing Trevis into prosthetics that looked like bark crevices," said Blackman, "and I glued a fabric that was covered with colored silicone into the crevices so they would transition perfectly. It looked sensational, but it took a lot of prep time, and doing it was maddening." (Star Trek: Costumes: Five Decades of Fashion from the Final Frontier, p. 211)
