Trinity College was the oldest university in Ireland on Earth founded in 1592, located in the city of Dublin.
In 2376, one of the modifications Captain Kathryn Janeway made to Michael Sullivan, a character from Tom Paris' holoprogram Fair Haven, was giving him the education level of a 19th century third-year student at Trinity College. She had been dissatisfied with Paris' original parameters for Sullivan, and felt they would get along better if she made the alterations. (VOY: "Fair Haven")
