The Turkana City cartographic database was a Federation database that contained mapping data of the Turkana IV colony.
Due to the turmoil of the colony's civil war, the data in the map became inaccurate and needed to be updated by residents of the colony. Since the colony cut off relations with the Federation in 2352, the database was updated as able locally.
In 2367, the USS Enterprise-D accessed this database to mount a rescue for members of the Arcos who had been captured by the Turkana IV Alliance. Ishara Yar of the Turkana IV Coalition provided an updated copy of the database and helped the crew fill in the details. (TNG: "Legacy")
