Tyler was an orange tabby cat that portrayed Spot on Star Trek: The Next Generation in the seventh season episodes "Force of Nature" and "Genesis". Tyler joined the production late as the fourth cat that portrayed Spot at the time. The others were Monster, Brandy, and Bud. Tyler was trained by Rob Bloch and Karen Thomas-Kolakowski of Critters of the Cinema.
