The Star Trek: The Lost Era novel Well of Souls reveals that Yuriel Tyvan (β), identified as one of the El-Aurian survivors of the SS Lakul, went on to become a Starfleet member and served as a counselor on the Enterprise-C, serving on the ship as of 2336.
