In 2401, the Luna joined a Starfleet armada coordinated by the Borg Queen's ship to deflect a massive energy burst from a newly forming transwarp conduit. (PIC: "Farewell")
The Luna first appeared in the novel Taking Wing, in which it is the prototype of its class, launched in 2372 with the registry NX-80101.
The presence of this ship in "Farewell" was confirmed by Dave Blass. [1]
