Background information Edit
The reference to the Reliant was originally omitted in the original broadcast version of "The Measure Of A Man", but was restored for the special extended version available on the TNG Season 2 Blu-ray release.
The service award was one of the props displayed at Comic Con's exhibit Jean-Luc Picard: The First Duty in the summer of 2019. According to signs at the exhibit, Picard served aboard this ship from 2327 to 2330 and helped with its decommissioning as he waited for the completion of the USS Enterprise-D in 2364.
