This female cadet served on the bridge during Saavik's attempt at the Kobayashi Maru scenario in 2285. She was later present on the bridge aboard the original USS Enterprise, where she performed various duties during the ship's training mission. (Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan)
Following the ship's return to Spacedock One, she gathered with the rest of the returnig crew, now wearing the black crewman division color, during Fleet Admiral Morrow's inspection of the vessel. (Star Trek III: The Search for Spock)

This recurring crewman was played by background actress and stand-in Kimberly L. Ryusaki, who received no credit for her appearances, though did receive credit as a stand-in in Star Trek III.
During the preproduction of The Search for Spock, Ryusaki happily noted her appearance in the new film, explaining "We're no longer cadets. Now, we're full-fledged officers on the Bridge!" (Starlog #80, March 1984, p. 44)

In 2293 he searched the crew quarters to find a pair of gravity boots which were used during the assassination of Klingon Chancellor Gorkon. He found the boots in a locker of Crewman Dax and together with Uhura and Chekov he took Crewman Dax to task only to learn that Dax could not be the assassin because of his large shaped feet.
