He beamed [[Lieutenant Commander]] [[Data]] from [[Ligon II]] and later [[Tasha Yar]] and [[Yareena]] after the latter one died during a hand-to-hand combat with Yar. ({{TNG|Code of Honor}})

The same year he served as transporter chief who beamed up the [[Betazoid gift box]] for [[Deanna Troi]], [[Victoria Miller|Victoria]], [[Steven Miller|Steven]], and [[Wyatt Miller]], and [[Lwaxana Troi]] and her [[servant]] Mr. [[Homn]]. Later, he was ready to beam some medical supplies over to the [[Tarellian starship]] but was rendered unconscious by a [[hypospray]] used by Wyatt Miller, who himself beamed over to the ship.
