He was on duty on the bridge in 2374 and manned an aft station next to Harry Kim during the negotiations between Captain Janeway and the Entharan arms dealer Kovin. He was also present when Voyager located Kovin aboard his ship after he transported out of his laboratory on the Entharan colony planet and Voyager hunted his ship down. (VOY: "Retrospect")
According to the call sheet, Murray was originally scheduled to appear in scene 8, too. This scene, a bridge scene, had Seven of Nine enter the captain's ready room. On the revised call sheet, he was replaced by actor Kevin Wickham who did not appear in the scene and left Susan Lewis alone, passing the main viewer.
According to the call sheet, Murray was scheduled to appear in bridge scenes 43-44 of the episode "Hope and Fear". In these scenes the bridge should be seen through the door of the briefing room but in the final episode, these scenes did not appear.
He was among the crewmembers in sickbay whose DNA was tested by The Doctor to exclude a possible impostor of Species 8472. Later, he was walking past Seven of Nine and Captain Janeway in a corridor. (VOY: "In the Flesh")

Following the incident with the series 5 long-range tactical armor unit, he was back on duty on the bridge in another night shift under the command of Harry Kim, where he manned an aft station. She replaced Tom Paris at the conn and received the information that Voyager was holding course 351 mark 10 at warp seven seven and would be passing a red dwarf system in forty minutes when the ship was hit by a shock wave. Paris then replaced her at the conn again when Captain Janeway called for a report. (VOY: "Time and Again")
She visited the mess hall when Neelix started to cook and serve fresh food for the crew. (VOY: "Phage")
She was on duty on the bridge and worked on the Mission Ops I console when the ship entered a nebula. She remained on the bridge when the crew identified the nebula as a nucleogenic cloud being, a lifeform, and assisted in regeneration of the lifeform. Later, when Voyager turned into a maze, she was having a drink in the mess hall and seated on a couch. She was back at the conn on the bridge when Voyager passed the distortion ring and Neelix brought a birthday cake for Kes on the bridge. (VOY: "Twisted")

This command ensign was played by background actress Debra Waters.
Waters was scheduled to work in scene 177, passing the transporter room when Chakotay was beamed aboard in "Caretaker", but was not part of the final scene due to re-shoots. The shooting schedule for "Time and Again", p. 1, listed her as "Female Ensign at conn".
Beginning with "Ex Post Facto", she was wearing a different hairstyle and in "Elogium" and "Twisted" she had the same hairstyle as fellow background actress Kimberly Auslander.

Rydell also filmed a scene for the fourth season episode "Retrospect" but this scene was deleted from the final episode. It would've been scene 46, a corridor scene in which she, Peter Harmyk, and M. Johnson passed Captain Janeway and the Entharan magistrate.

This female command ensign was talking to fellow officers on the Promenade outside Quark's aboard Deep Space 9 in 2371.
Later, she visited the mess hall aboard Voyager the same time Tom Paris told Harry Kim about his troubled past.
When Captain Kathryn Janeway brought Harry Kim and Tom Paris on the bridge of Voyager, she was working on an aft station. She was also present when the crew detected an energy wave in the Badlands.
Following the death of conn officer Lieutenant Stadi, she manned the conn on the bridge. She piloted Voyager into a nearby debris field where the sensors detected a humanoid lifeform.
She went back working on an aft station on the bridge while an away team tried to rescue Harry Kim and B'Elanna Torres on the surface of Ocampa.
Later, after the Caretaker's array was destroyed at order of Captain Janeway, she was listening to the captain's speech. (VOY: "Caretaker")
She was working on the bridge on an aft console when Voyager approached an asteroid rich of dilithium deposits and made first contact with the Vidiians. (VOY: "Phage")

This command officer served aboard Voyager when the ship was transported into the Delta Quadrant in 2371.
He transported the corpse of Lieutenant Stadi off the bridge alongside Crewman Kashimuro Nozawa.
He was among the crewmembers who were transported aboard the Caretaker's array and witnessed a group of farm folk dancing and celebrating the day. When Captain Janeway told the crewmembers around her to come with her after she received an emergency call from Tom Paris, he joined the captain and went into the barn. There, he witnessed the farm folk appear and threaten the crewmembers with forks. He also saw a wall disappear and the Maquis crewmembers from the Val Jean unconscious and probed in a chamber.
Later, back aboard Voyager, he and Kashimuro Nozawa brought a wounded command officer off the bridge. (VOY: "Caretaker")
He manned the conn when Voyager encountered a type-4 quantum singularity and the ship started to shake. He was replaced by Tom Paris who came out of the briefing room where the senior staff had a meeting. (VOY: "Parallax")

She filmed bridge scenes on Wednesday 7 September 1994 for the pilot episode "Caretaker". Due to the departure of Geneviève Bujold these scenes were later re-shot without Shiferaw. These scenes were included in the special feature The First Captain: Bujold on VOY Season 1 DVD. She was also scheduled to appear on the bridge in the episode "The Cloud", according to the call sheets, but was not seen in the final episode.
