Ready Room

"Ever since my first day on the job as a Starfleet captain, I swore I'd never let myself get caught in one of these godforsaken paradoxes. The past is the future; the future is the past. It all gives me a headache." -- from VOY: "Future's End"

Galloway 2269

This man survived the events of "The Omega Glory"

... and someday, when I finally write my Star Trek novel, you'll know how and why.

Seriously, I remember being extremely distraught the first time I saw "The Omega Glory." I couldn't believe they killed Galloway. Not just killed him, but vaporized him. To make matters worse, he reappeared as someone called Johnson. But then he was back as Galloway by the series end, so in my view of the Trek universe, he's not dead.

"Galloway's pointless death in this episode is particularly sad when you consider that in his previous appearance he was picking up tribbles." - from Memory Alpha's summary of "The Omega Glory"

Could this be who I think it is?

I've always been fascinated by this shot from "Beyond the Farthest Star". Sulu is in command, Arex is at navigation, so who's that redshirt at the helm? Call it random speculation, but I've always liked to think that this is the animated version of Lt. Leslie.

Baku goat

Anonymous Goat as Ba'ku Goat

"Unnamed mutant lizard movie was a 20th century Earth movie about a mutated lizard."

"Cavit was killed by the wave when he inexplicably chose to go for a jog rather than brace for impact."

"The fact that we were turning people into salamanders was offensive to a lot of people and just plain stupid to others." -- Jeri Taylor, allegedly, on "Threshold"

"Lieutenant Leslie, killed by the dikironium cloud creature on Argus X; he later recovered."

"The Ba'ku goat was played by an uncredited Earth goat."
