- We strongly encourage you to use the "source editor" in your editing preferences, so you can use our standard formatting templates. We also recommend you click this link and save the page.
- The Manual of Style and how to write a great article can help you put together an article that might end up on our Featured Articles list someday.
- Want to help build the category tree? Check out Category suggestions.
- You can look up your past changes in the contributions log and keep track of your favorite articles through your very own watchlist.
- Create your own user page and be contacted here, on your talk page. Please make sure to sign any comments on talk pages with four tildes (~~~~) to add your user name and the date and time.
If you have any questions, please feel free to post them in one of our forums. Thanks, and once again, welcome to Memory Alpha!
- See the user projects page for current projects of our archivists, or help us to reduce the number of stubs.

H vs h
Human is suppose to be capitalized, like we do for all the other races (Klingon, Romulan, Borg, etc). - Archduk3 22:07, November 26, 2010 (UTC)
Citations
When dealing with background information, please cite your sources. In regards to Shinzon's name, where did John Logan say this? Thanks.– Cleanse ( talk | contribs ) 00:37, December 11, 2010 (UTC)
Apostrophes
When wishing to keep an apostrophe out of the wikicode, type the following: <nowiki>your text here</nowiki> this will exempt anything within from the wikicode. Alternatively you can click the button which has a crossed-out W, which is next to the signature button above the posting area.--31dot 11:18, December 22, 2010 (UTC)
- ACtually, when you want to keep an apostrophe out of wikicode, please use {{'}} instead. Thanks. -- sulfur 11:36, December 22, 2010 (UTC)
"Inter Arma..." FA Nomination
Hello Crouchbk! I was hoping you might be able to spare a few minutes to read through "Inter Arma Enim Silent Leges" and perhaps consider voting for it as an FA? Regardless, any comments you may have on the article would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! :) --| TrekFan Open a channel 19:25, August 26, 2011 (UTC)
"Preview" button
Hi. Please use the "preview" button when editing an article. This prevents from editing an article several times in a few minutes. Thanks. Tom (talk) 22:31, February 10, 2014 (UTC)
Another reminder to use the preview button instead of editing a single sentence in an article nine times in a few minutes. Tom (talk) 17:36, August 5, 2015 (UTC)
Memorable quotes
When adding quotes to things, please ensure that you format them properly, as per the other quotes on MA. It saves other people from having to come in and correct them. Thanks. -- sulfur (talk) 02:33, November 10, 2015 (UTC)
Redirects to "titles" within pages
Please make sure that you add categories to these... we're working to ensure that we know what's what and what's going where for these things. Thanks. -- sulfur (talk) 06:15, November 12, 2015 (UTC)
Format stuff
It would appear that you're using Wikia's visual editor. It does some rather funky things with italicized links, some of which cause extra work for other editors to fix things. FYI. -- sulfur (talk) 00:38, May 13, 2016 (UTC)
