USS templateEdit

fyi... I reworked the template so that it can accept a second variable that will handle ship name disambiguations. I also expanded the usage to suit. I'm going to do a bit more work on it to try to handle cases such as USS Enterprise-D/-E/etc next. But just wanted to let you know. -- Sulfur 12:19, 3 July 2007 (UTC)

Thanks a bundle. Will backward compatibility with the basic case (i.e. the Yamato example) be preserved in the forthcoming modifications? If not, then I'll hold off on the editing spree until a more perfected version is ready. – Kv1at3485 12:22, 3 July 2007 (UTC)

Well, that's the idea. Check out the usage now. If there's one variable, it's the same template you created. If there are two, it uses the second as the disambiguation. If there are three, the third is added on as a postfix, just as the last example on the page. As such, you should be able to edit away, and see what happens. :) -- Sulfur 12:32, 3 July 2007 (UTC)
