Van der Veer Photo Effects (credited as Vanderveer Photo Effects) was an optical visual effects company founded by Frank Van der Veer in 1963 that was contracted to provide special effects for the second and third seasons of Star Trek: The Original Series.

The company received a 1968 Emmy Award nomination, shared with Howard A. Anderson Company, the Westheimer Company, and Cinema Research, in the category "Special Classification Achievements" for its work on Star Trek.

Following Frank Van der Veer's death in 1982, the company continued to provide special effects for various films until its dissolution in 1997. [1]
