The Vandor system is a binary star system located in a remote part of the galaxy, consisting of a class B red giant and a pulsar. In 2351, the Vandor system was selected by Dr. Paul Manheim as the location for his experiments into time, as the dense gravity of the pulsar was vital for his work. He based his laboratory on a planetoid in the system, Vandor IV. (TNG:"We'll Always Have Paris")
