A Veltan lust idol in Yorif's collection
A Veltan sex idol, also called a Veltan lust idol, was a rare item prized among collectors.
When Palor Toff and Kivas Fajo were comparing their respective collections of valuable objects in 2366, Toff mentioned that he had recently added a Veltan sex idol to his collection. Fajo replied that he already had four of them. Toff's idol had intact pearls, which he believed made it more valuable, but Fajo claimed that pearls were an addition made by Ferengi agents in order to artificially increase the idol's value. Yorif had a Veltan sex idol on display in his collection in 2382, claiming he had to slash the wages of all of his latinum miners in order to afford it. He informed a disguised D'Vana Tendi that the mere sight of it was claimed to be an aphrodisiac. Tendi swiftly stole the idol during a pirate raid led by L'Kar, and later sold it to her sister D'Erika Tendi in payment of her debt to her. (LD: "Dos Cerritos")
