Venita Wolf (1 September 1945 – 22 November 2014; age 69) was the actress who appeared as Teresa Ross in the Star Trek: The Original Series first season episode "The Squire of Gothos". She filmed her scenes on Friday 28 October 1966, Monday 31 October 1966, Wednesday 2 November 1966, and Thursday 3 November 1966 at Desilu Stage 9 and Stage 10.
Other than that, she had only a short stint on popular television from 1966 to 1969, including guest roles on The Flying Nun, The Monkees, Gunsmoke, and The Beverly Hillbillies, among others. Wolf's only feature film credit was a supporting role in Catalina Caper (1967, featuring Peter Duryea).
A model and winner of numerous beauty contests, Wolf was queen of the 1962 May Festival in Orange, California. Later that year, she was named Miss Orange County Press Club. In 1967, she appeared on the cover of the July issue of Playboy.
Wolf abandoned her acting career after her 1968 marriage to Lawrence Taylor Tatman III, aka Skip Taylor. Taylor was co-manager of The Kaleidoscope, a short-lived LA psychedelic nightclub. Wolf passed away on 22 November 2014. [1]
