The Verath system was a planetary system in the Gamma Quadrant. This system was home to the ancient Verathan civilization.

Vash visited the Verath system while in the company of Q, and brought back a Verathan artifact, a stone statue showing the Prime Ossemite Drohlak of the 19th Dynasty, which she auctioned off at Deep Space 9 in 2369. (DS9: "Q-Less")

This system was only mentioned in dialogue.
According to the script, the pronunciation for Verath was "vuh-RATH". [1]
