Vince St. Cyr (30 June 193016 March 1997; age 66) [1] was an actor who played the father of the drowning boy in the Star Trek: The Original Series third season episode "The Paradise Syndrome". As a background performer, he received no credit for the role.

He also appeared in the Western The Wild and the Innocent (1959, with Al Cavens, Charles Seel, and Mary Carver) and The FBI Story (1959, with Parley Baer, Benjie Bancroft, Nick Borgani, Dick Cherney, and Jane Crowley) and on Gunsmoke (1964, with Eddie Hice), and Hondo (1967, with Rudy Doucette, Darren Dublin and Lars Hensen).

He was a relative of the first Native American star in a Hollywood feature, actress Lillian St. Cyr, aka Red Wing. [2]
