In 2369, Mullibok attempted to make Kira Nerys mad by first telling her that "you look real good even from this angle," before adding "But you know something? You walk like a carnivorous rastipod." (DS9: "Progress")
In 2374, Quark, who was perfecting his female alias, was told by Leeta that he needed to practice his walk. When Quark asked what was wrong with it, she said he was lumbering. Quark felt he would never be able to pull off the disguise, so Rom offered to show him how women walked, saying he ought to glide. Quark's penchant for lumbering gave rise to his alias' name, Lumba.
