Walter Bacon (13 May 18917 November 1973; age 82) was an actor who appeared as a street onlooker in the Star Trek: The Original Series first season episode "The City on the Edge of Forever". He filmed his scene on Friday 3 February 1967 on location at the "40 Acres" backlot. He received no credit for this appearance.

Along with Judith Anderson, Bill Borzage, Jane Crowley, Morgan Farley, Richard Hale, Anthony Jochim, Felix Locher, Celia Lovsky, Leonard Mudie, Charles Seel, Abraham Sofaer, Eleanore Vogel, and Ian Wolfe, he is one of only fourteen Star Trek performers born in the 19th century to appear in any episode or film.
