Webster Palmer Whinery (29 August 1953 – 4 June 2022; age 68) was a stuntman, stunt actor, and stunt coordinator who performed stunts in Star Trek: Insurrection and portrayed an Osaarian pirate in the Star Trek: Enterprise third season episode "Anomaly (ENT)". His costume from this episode was later sold off on the It's A Wrap! sale and auction on eBay. [1](X)
Whinery, Sr. was the father of stuntman Webster Whinery, Jr. and the uncle of actor and director Scott Ryan Whinery. He held the Guinness World Record for his Spider Man "slide for life" stunt in February 1998 and doubled for actors such as Sean Bean, Nicolas Cage, Edward Kerr, Mickey Rourke, and Jeremy Northam.
