Lieutenant Wong was a female Starfleet officer. In 2364, she was assigned to the USS Enterprise-D. She had experience in the programming of environmental controls for Federation starships.
In 2364, when the Enterprise-D was afflicted with the Quazulu VIII virus, engineering reported to the bridge that they had experienced difficulties with programming the computer for variations in climate controls. Lieutenant La Forge, placed in temporary command of the bridge by Captain Picard, was about to leave the bridge to help engineering when Lieutenant Worf recommended that Wong go instead. La Forge thanked Worf for the recommendation, and ordered engineering to contact Wong. (TNG: "Angel One")
