Worene was played by stuntwoman [[Paula Crist]]. The alien, including the name, was her own creation. Crist was originally supposed to be a bridge alien (that part went to the [[Rhaandarite]] ensign played by [[Billy Van Zandt]]). [[Gene Roddenberry]] was impressed by the alien though, and she still managed to appear on screen in the rec dec scene.

Worene was an alien crewmember of the USS Enterprise (NCC-1701) in 2272. She attended the V'Ger briefing. (Star Trek: The Motion Picture)

Background

Worene was played by stuntwoman Paula Crist. The alien, including the name, was her own creation. Crist was originally supposed to be a bridge alien (that part went to the Rhaandarite ensign played by Billy Van Zandt). Gene Roddenberry was impressed by the alien though, and she still managed to appear on screen in the rec dec scene.
