Multiple realities
(covers information from several alternate timelines)

The Wright Flyer was the first airplane on Earth to successfully perform a controlled, powered, sustained flight. The plane was built and flown for twelve seconds over a distance of thirty-seven meters by Orville and Wilbur Wright in Kitty Hawk, North Carolina on December 17, 1903. (ENT: "North Star"; LD: "Crisis Point 2: Paradoxus")

History[]

After Jonathan Archer restored a damaged timeline, the Wright Flyer could be seen in the time stream as the timeline realigned itself. (ENT: "Storm Front, Part II")

This scene was also featured in the opening credits for Star Trek: Enterprise.

An image depicting the first flight of the Wright Flyer was contained in the library computer aboard the USS Enterprise in 2254. (TOS-R: "The Cage")

In 2259 of the alternate reality, a replica of this aircraft was on display in the office of Admiral Alexander Marcus. (Star Trek Into Darkness)

The Artisan prop and model shop of Quantum Mechanix, QMx FX Cinema Arts, was asked to illustrate the history of space flight with models for the film. They constructed fourteen models in total. On their website, there was a picture of the Wright Flyer model. [1]
