Doctor Wyatt Miller was a Human male, a civilian physician and son of Victoria and Steven Miller. The Millers were close friends of Lwaxana and Ian Andrew Troi.

While a child, his parents bonded him to the Troi's daughter, Deanna Troi, but did not meet her. Throughout his childhood and into adulthood, he had dreams about a mysterious young woman, whom he assumed would be his future wife, Troi. He believed she telepathically projected those images into his mind. He would sketch this woman often.

Wyatt Miller attended medical school. His favorite subject was biological virus analysis.

His marriage was scheduled for early 2364, and Lwaxana and the Miller family arrived on the USS Enterprise-D from the planet Haven to make the necessary arrangements for the wedding. But upon meeting Troi, he knew she was not the woman of his dreams and did not want to go through with the marriage. The wedding was canceled when Wyatt found his fantasy lover, Ariana, aboard a Tarellian ship. The Tarellian civilization was wiped out by a plague caused by biological warfare. All of the surviving Tarellians had tried to flee but carried the infection with them. Feeling compelled, he beamed over to the ship with supplies in order to help find a cure for Ariana and her people. (TNG: "Haven")

Wyatt Miller was played by Rob Knepper.
In the novel Vendetta, when discussing the implausibility of Picard's connection to the mysterious Delcara, Troi mentions her own experience of Wyatt's knowledge of Ariana as another example of the implausibility of the universe, Picard admitting that he privately wondered if the whole scenario was an elaborate deception on Wyatt's part but keeping his thoughts on the matter private as everyone involved seemed to be doing what they wanted.
