The inhabited Class M planet Xahea was the homeworld of the space-faring Xaheans. According to the Xahean citizen Me Hani Ika Hali Ka Po, there was a natural balance between the planet and the Xaheans as they were born at the same time, making them twins.
The planetary government consisted of a king or queen and the Xahean Council.
Dilithium was mined in the caves on Xahea.
The planet had by the late 2250s achieved warp capacity. This world was known to Starfleet as there was a file, catalogue number 015289430, in the Starfleet database. In the database, there was a record of incidents involving this planet.
In the late 2250s, Me Hani Ika Hali Ka Po was coronated as queen. (ST: "Runaway")
