Xon was a Starfleet officer in the 23rd century.

In 2285, this individual was a captain at Starfleet Academy's Starfleet Training Command. Their office, located on the second level of a building, was in room #213. The rank, name, and office of this individual was listed on a directory placard. (Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, set artwork)

In 2380, Beckett Mariner compared Bradward Boimler to Xon when he refused to participate in her "movie" holodeck program, but Boimler was unfamiliar with the name. (LD: "Crisis Point")

This individual was named after the Star Trek: Phase II character Xon. The placard was sold on It's A Wrap! sale and auction for US$31.99. [1]
The mention of Xon in LD: "Crisis Point" was a joke based on the fact that Xon was a character planned to appear but ultimately cut from the final version of Star Trek: The Motion Picture.
