"You cannot understand."
"You're right, I can't. Because I've seen the part of you that regrets what you've become. Listen to me. You don't have to do this any more."
"I have no choice."
Yuta was a servant to Sovereign Marouk, leader of the Acamarians. Yuta was a member of the clan Tralesta; she was the last surviving member of that clan, and was one of five Tralestas to survive the clan's decimation by the Lornak clan nearly 100 years prior. The surviving clan members chose Yuta to be the instrument of their revenge. She was genetically altered to live an unnaturally long life, a life she dedicated to hunting down and eliminating all members of the Lornak clan. In addition to her altered lifespan, Yuta's very touch had been altered to transmit a microvirus that would be immediately lethal to anyone who carried the DNA of the Lornak clan. Her body was also resilient against phaser fire, so she couldn't be stunned. In 2313, she attended the trial of Penthor-Mul and was able to transmit the micro virus to him.
At an unknown time, she became a trusted servant of Marouk in order to gain access to the Lornaks that she could not reach. She served as Marouk's cook and food taster.
In 2366, when Marouk was petitioned by Captain Picard for aid in dealing with the Gatherers, Yuta accompanied Marouk, and her delegation of servants aboard the USS Enterprise-D. She accompanied Marouk to Gamma Hromi II, where she gave Volnoth the microvirus. The group traveled to meet with with Chorgan, leader of the Gatherers and the last surviving member of the Lornaks, the clan with connections to the massacre. Yuta planned to murder him, but was stopped when Commander Riker, with whom she had begun a romantic relationship, was forced to kill her to prevent the murder. (TNG: "The Vengeance Factor")
Yuta was played by Lisa Wilcox.
