The Zalkonian warships were advanced military vessels utilized by the Zalkonians during the late-24th century
These vessels have formidable armaments, with weaponry comparable to that of a Galaxy-class starship. As well, these vessels are as nearly as fast and maneuverable. Aside from standard phasers, these vessels are armed with a form of weapon that causes the crews of enemy ships to suffer from asphyxiation. Federation shields are ineffective against this form of attack.
In late 2366, a Zalkonian warship traversed sector 9569 on an intercept course towards the Federation starship USS Enterprise-D to retrieve the Zalkonian fugitive named "John Doe". (TNG: "Transfigurations")
- The Zalkonian warship model was a heavily modified redress of the Tarellian starship from "Haven" (TNG), much of its footage was reused for the Ktarian starship seen in "The Game" (TNG).
