Memory Alpha

Zeon was an inhabited planet in an unnamed system. This planet had a ring system. It was the homeworld for the Zeons, a pre-warp humanoid species. This planet was further out from its primary than the sister planet Ekos.

By the mid-23rd century, Zeon had interplanetary capable ships and its civilization had enjoyed dozens of generations of peace. Shortly after the year 2218, the Zeons undertook a mission to Ekos on a mission of civilizing the Ekosians. A Zeon colony was established on Ekos, which existed for the next half a century before being wiped out by the Ekosian National Socialist Party.

In 2268, Zeon was briefly endangered when the Ekosian Nazi regime planned to attack it with a fleet of manned and unmanned weapons. Promoted as the "Final Decision", the attack was barely averted by the crew of the starship USS Enterprise, working with the Zeon and native Ekosian anti-Nazi underground resistance.
